The popular Ukrainian girl trio Mirami is excited to present their latest song called “Mathematics”. The single is being released simultaneously in two languages: Ukrainian and Polish. A lively, positive, and uplifting track will instantly lighten your mood during the gloomy days of autumn 2024.
The song “Mathematics” was written by Andriy Bakun, a renowned Ukrainian sound producer and one of the producers for the Mirami group. “This single is about emotions and experiences that, in my opinion, resonate with most women,” says Bakun. “Every girl would love to dedicate more time to themselves—whether it’s focusing on their beauty, shopping, or relaxation—to truly feel like a queen, without worrying about anything else, especially expenses. Ultimately, this makes sense, as a woman’s expenses often become a man’s concern. The song ‘Mathematics’ gives a feeling of lightness, capturing the carefree lifestyle that everyone dreams of so much these days.
The new Mirami song has been translated into Polish by Alexander Duda, the group’s second producer. “This time, we decided to record the Polish version of the song because Mirami has a large fan base in Poland, and we wanted to make this special gift to our Polish fans,” he explains.
Recently, Forbes Ukraine magazine has written about the significant number of Mirami fans in Poland, recognizing the girl trio as one of the most successful Ukrainian musical projects outside of Ukraine. Mirami’s Polish audience on Spotify accounts for 80 percent (which is, on average, 154,000 listeners every month). Mirami’s song “Sexualna” remains hugely popular in Poland and other European countries, having stayed on the music charts there for years. By the way, the video for “Sexual-Dangerous” has already reached about 90 million views on official YouTube channels.
The release of the single “Mathematics” takes place at the same time as the premiere of the music video with the same name. It was directed by Artur Popitak, who also directed the group’s previous video, “Вона / She.” The filming of the new music video happened in Lviv, at one of the city’s most creative locations: the innovative education space UA-Teens, situated within the KIVSH complex. KIVSH is a multifunctional space where creative industry companies thrive, innovative startups are launched, and educational programs, lectures, and master classes are held. In particular, at the UA-Teens space, teenagers can choose three out of eight modern disciplines: 3D modeling, filmmaking, animation, robotics, programming, graphic design, game development, and music production. Following the premiere of the single “Mathematics,” the producers of Mirami plan to complete the band’s fourth studio album this winter. They promise more than one musical surprise for fans of hot girls from Lviv, who are enthusiastically welcomed at concert venues in Ukraine and far beyond.
