Real McCoy

Short Bio

Real McCoy – legendary Eurodance group from Germany, founded by producer and rapper Olaf Jeglitza (O-Jay) to bring high-energy dance music to international audiences. The project gained massive popularity in the 1990s under the name MC Sar & The Real McCoy, and later simply Real McCoy.

The band became globally known after the release of their breakthrough album Another Night in 1994 through Arista Records. The album featured hit singles “Another Night”, “Run Away”, and “Automatic Lover (Call for Love)”, which topped charts in the USA, UK, and across Europe, with the album achieving multi-platinum status in the United States.

Following their international success, Real McCoy released more singles such as “Love & Devotion”, “Come and Get Your Love”, “One More Time”, and “(If You’re Not In It For Love) I’m Outta Here!”, continuing to tour and perform for fans worldwide.

Over the years, the project has undergone several lineup changes, but its signature sound—upbeat Eurodance with a mix of rap and melodic vocals—remains unchanged.
